Sean is a very experienced rural insurance broker based in Canterbury. He started his career with Pyne Gould Guinness many moons ago and now leads GSI South as the CEO. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience and with an innovative, practical, client‑focused approach to helping farmers and business owners protect what matters.

He’s known for really getting to know the people he works with and crafting cover that actually fits their day‑to‑day reality, drawing on decades of hands‑on experience in both New Zealand and two years in the London broker market.

Mariah Peddie is a qualified rural insurance broker with strong roots in the agricultural sector. Having spent much of her childhood in the Rakaia Gorge and holding a Bachelor of Agriculture Commerce from Lincoln University, she combines practical farming insight with solid industry expertise.

With many years’ experience in the rural insurance market, Mariah is known for her fair approach, providing honest support, practical solutions, and tailored advice to ensure her clients have the right protection. She and her husband, Glenn, are raising their three children in Darfield, where family and community play a big part in their everyday life.
